This is one of the only recent pictures the Client had of their aunt. They wanted the picture touched up and to have some of the aging signs removed. Per Clients instructions we:

Removed hands from back of chair
Cleaned up marks on dress
Removed most wrinkles
Smoothed out the coarseness in the face
Sharpened facial features
Increased color brightness and contrast

This 1940's portrait was printed on canvas-like textured paper and contained a few minor cracks and a spot on the left arm. We retouched this photograph with the steps below:

Repaired cracks and damaged areas
Smoothed out coarse canvas-like picture texture
Sharpened image
Increased brightness and contrast
