On Santa's lap 1961
This 1961 visit to Santa has faded and the colors have shifted over the years. To retouch this holiday treasure performed the following steps:
- Cleaned up the photo
- Adjusted the colors to provide a more natural look
- Smoothed out the coarseness in the skin
- Increased the brightness and contrast
- Sharpened the photo

Old Couple
The work we performed in restoring this photograph is featured on page 295 of "Photoshop Restoration and Retouching", written by Katrin Eismann; a renown author, lecturer, and teacher of imaging, restoration, and retouching. To retouch this picture we performed the following:
- Cleaned up the red specks in both faces
- Adjusted existing colors to the extent possible, to bring back original colors
- Hand-colorized the faces to provide a more natural look
- Sharpened the photo
- Smoothed out the coarseness in the skin
- Increased tonal range
- Added depth to the photo
- Repaired the background

1971 Boss 351 Mustang
This photograph was taken in 1971 of a newly purchased Mustang Boss 351.It has major tears with missing detail, major cracks, color fading and shifting, some fire damage, and is somewhat out of focus. The work we performed in restoring this photograph is featured in the book "Photoshop Restoration and Retouching" by Katrin Eismann on pages 248-250. To correct it we performed the following steps:
- Repaired all cracks, and filled-in areas missing detail.
- Increased brightness and contrast.
- Adjusted color saturation.
- Sharpened the car and building
- Fixed the sky

Siblings
This beautiful photograph of Siblings was submitted to RetouchPro.com by Paul Tipton. It had experienced color fading, color shifting and the focus is a little soft. To correct it we:
- Matched up the discolored borders on the bottom and sides with the rest of the photo
- Increased brightness and contrast
- Adjusted colors to correct the color fading and shifting
- Sharpened the photo to bring out the features and clothing of the Siblings

Little Boy in Backyard - 1957
This photograph was taken in 1957 and is a Kodak Ektakrome slide. The slide was in very good condition considering dramatic color fading and shifting typical on so many old color prints. To retouch this slide we performed the following:
- Cleaned up spots on the car and some on the driveway
- Increased brightness and contrast
- Corrected all faded colors
- Sharpened overall image

Little Boy in Backyard - 1957
This is a picture of the first MG, referred to as "Old No 1". This photograph belongs to Steve Shalford of Solihull, United Kingdom and his grandfather (who is s seated in the Old No 1) was a primary engineer of the first MG. To restore this historic photograph we performed the following:
- Cleared up all the stains, cracks and lines on the cars, street and buildings
- Removed all the faded and discolored areas.
- Re-colorized the cars, people, street and building
- Sharpened the photograph
