Decomposed Portrait
Time has not been kind to this photograph, as it has begun to decompose. To restore this severely decomposed photograph we performed the following:
- Restored all missing detail to the face, neck, hair and blouse
- Smoothed out all areas of the face
- Improved contrast
- Replaced background

1908 Full Portrait
This picture is from the turn of the 20th Century. It contains numerous cracks throughout the picture, several of which ran through the eyes and face. The following restoration steps were taken:
- Repaired a number of deep creases some of which covered the face and eyes
- Created and rebuilt parts of eyes and nose
- Restored black, white and grays
- Sharpened image
- Minimized coarseness
- Removed stains
- Replaced the background and created a vignette

"Dog Days"
This photograph is from Vikki Hansen., and had numerous scratches and stains, including on two of the faces. It was also significantly discolored and faded. To restore this wonderful photograph of siblings we performed the following:
- Removed all stains throughout the picture, including faces, clothing, and siding.
- Removed all writing on the picture.
- Restored detail to all the faces (and dog).
- Opened up the shadows, highlights and midtones.
- Sharpened the picture.

Grandfather & his New Car - 1920
This picture belongs to Steve Shalford of Solihull, England, and it shows his grandfather in 1920 sitting in his new car with his friend looking on. To restore this photograph which was extremely damaged due to tape and the environment, we performed the following:
- Cleared up all the tape stains
- Repaired the cracks and lines on the car, street, and building
- Adjusted highlights, shadows and midtones
- Sharpened the photograph

Missouri Farm
This is a photograph of a Grandfather his Sisters and Father that was taken in the early 1900's in Missouri. The photograph has extensive damage including missing pieces, stains and scratches. To repair this photograph we performed the following:
- Filled in all missing areas including the man's face, a gate, the barn, the ground and the sky
- Increased brightness and contrast
- Removed color fading
- Sharpened overall image

The Cadet
This picture was taken around 1900, and is a photo of a cadet at a military school when he was around 18 years old. He died shortly after this photo was taken of typhoid fever. To restore this photograph which was extremely faded and marked up, we performed the following:
- Cleared up all the marks on the cadet's face, uniform, hat, and background
- Strengthened highlights, shadows and midtones
- Restored details lost to fading
- Sharpened the photograph
- Added a sepia (brownish) tint
