This picture is from RetouchPro.com of a Great Grandmother taken about or before 1900. This picture was substantially stained and had a number of cracks and scratches, and was missing certain areas. We fixed this photograph by:
Removing all stains, cracks and scratches throughout the picture, including faces, clothing, chair, rug and wall.
Improving contrast.
Rebuilding the rug and wall.
Hand coloring the entire photograph.

This picture is from RetouchPro.com (Challenge #23), and it is a picture of a grandmother that is extremely faded.
To restore this faded photograph we:
Built up the detail in the photograph.
Restored shadows, highlights and midtones
Restored the face by adding depth and smoothness.
Restored the dress.
Replaced the damaged background.

missing. To restore this portrait of our Client's Mother we did the

Removing all stains, cracks and throughout the picture
Flled-in missing areas
Colorized the photograph according to Client's
specifications
Improved the contrast
