Celebrity Color Restorations

For this picture of Marilyn Monroe posing with her diamonds, we colorized her hair according to what we saw in color photographs, and we added makeup and emphasized the diamonds and put her in a nice blue dress.

This is a beautiful  picture of Marilyn Monroe when she was in her 20s.  We colorized her hair according to what we saw in color photographs, and we added makeup and removed the two gentleman from the car so just Marilyn is visible

We performed an exhaustive search to locate the copyright owners of the above pictures of Marilyn Monroe that we have colorized.  We looked at photographs of Marilyn Monroe that were taken by well know photographers, lesser know photographers, we also looked through photographs in books of Marilyn Monroe, and we contacted Web sites that displayed these photographs, but we were unable to locate the copyright owners. We did get permission to display these photographs from the Marilyn Monroe estate. For this great black and white photograph of Elizabeth Taylor we did a full hand colorization using what is referred to as the "Primary Colorization Method". We made sure to color her eyes a shade of violet, which is their true color.
