"The Nurse"

This 40 year old photo was taken of our Client, and it was treasured.  It only measured 2.5" x 3.5" and she wanted it enlarged as big as possible, while retaining good quality.  We were able to enlarge it to 10" x "12".  She also wanted the picture behind her removed as well as the firelace tool, and wanted a vignette so that it would fit in an oval frame.  The sizes shown are somewhat represenative of actual size of the original  and restored photograph, however the original would be even smaller and hard to see.

This is how we restored it:

• Scanned the original image at 1200dpi to get as much detail for the enlargement
• Enlarged the photograph to 10" x 12"
• Cleaned up all stray marks
• Removed the fireplace
• Removed the fireplace tools
• Created a vignette
